This has been a rough week for writing, so I am giving myself a few days break. I am in the editing stage of my new YA fantasy based on mythology. This is the first book where I didn’t plot beforehand, so the editing feels more daunting 😬
So, what is the new book about? I am still not telling 😋 but here is another clue:
Last year, I set a few goals for myself regarding getting reviews for my books My Dear Ellie and Divine Error. I had set the target at 10 reviews for my debut, and 5 reviews for my dark comedy novella. I reached both my goals!
I will be honest, I didn’t know I would get so emotional seeing 11 reviews for My Dear Ellie ðŸ˜ðŸ¥° It is always humbling to know that people are reading my books. I can’t explain to you in words how much it all means to me 💕
This year, I am hoping to get 5 more reviews for Divine Error and 10 for the sequel, Eleanor’s Travels. Reviews helps authors a lot. Reviews help more people finding our books. They are especially helpful for Indie authors like me who don’t have a large budget for advertising.
I will try to do a TYMNHS post early next week, as this week has been challenging for concentration. Thank you for reading!
