Countries around the World (Update on Eleanor’s Travels)

I had promised earlier to do a blog post on my progress, so here it is. As you might know that I am working on the second book after My Dear Ellie. Book two is from Ellie’s point of view and we get to learn some of the secrets that she has been keeping from everyone. Oh, she is also traveling the world. There are some similarities between the first book and the second book but Eleanor’s Travels can be considered as a standalone novel.

Similarities between Book 1 and 2:

Ellie’s and Cassie’s friendship

Ellie plays a prank on Cassie (again)

Ellie is obsessed with becoming a superstar

Things we find out:

How Ellie played matchmaker between Cassie and John

How she tries to hide her addiction

Ellie’s relationship with her parents

Interesting people she meets on her trip and the friends she makes

Who she falls in love with 💕

The countries that Ellie travels to (this is not complete and I will update this list as I complete it):

Australia, Japan, China, India, Canada, Mexico, Italy, UK, Peru, Argentina, Antarctica, Turkey

So you can see, it is a long list already and I am not done. I hope to capture the magic of each of these countries somehow.

What do you think? Do you see your country on the list? What would you love to have highlighted about your country in the book? I would love to hear from you! 😊

I can’t wait until Eleanor Travels is complete for publication and ready for the readers to read 📚💕🥳
